National Parks

Susanne was involved in a study on the Green Economy activities (including ecosystem services) in and around three major protected areas in Eastern Africa, namely the Queen Elizabeth Protected Area (QEPA), Uganda; the Virunga National Park Area (VNP), DRC; and the Northern Rangelands (NRPA), Kenya. In additional to economic analysis, Susanne was contracted to develop communication material to build a narrative illustrating the results of the study. She interviewed entrepreneurs, and NGOS in and around the National Parks. Her work results in factsheets, infographics and story maps highlighting impact of green economy projects on people around the parks. Susanne was contracted by Living Prospects.
